Club Rules:

Hello! Welcome to the Salt Lake Youth Amateur Radio Club!

We have a small fee to cover club costs. The annual membership fee is:

• $5 per year for members aged 19 and older.
• Free for members aged 18 and under.

Currently, we do not hold regular meetings, but we hope to organize some in the future.

Repeater Rules:

If you plan to use our repeaters, please follow these rules:

• Do not send random DTMF tones in hopes of triggering the Echolink, IRLP, or Allstar nodes. These can only be used when your club membership is paid.
• Our club repeaters are open to anyone with a valid amateur radio license, regardless of membership status.
• Members under the age of 18 (or 18) can use the linked systems for free!

If you wish to access the DTMF tones to connect to our nodes, please visit the paid members page (available only to members). The tones will be emailed to the address you used when you registered.

1. Pay your dues (ages 19 and up).
2. Join the club (ages 18 and lower).

SLYARC reserves the right to revoke Echolink, IRLP, and Allstar node privileges for any member (young or old) if the DTMF tones are exposed or abused, such as disconnecting, linking without permission, or kerchunking without a valid callsign.

If abuse of any repeater or node occurs frequently or for extended periods, we reserve the right to revoke your membership.
